Shipping Policy

Insurance

All outbound shipments are fully insured for the declared value of the watch. Insurance coverage is included in every order at no additional charge to you.

Carriers

We ship via reputable carriers including FedEx and UPS, depending on destination and order value. All shipments require an adult signature upon delivery. We do not leave high-value packages without a signature.

Processing Time

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1 to 2 business days after payment is confirmed. For custom sourcing orders or transactions that require additional verification, processing may take slightly longer. We will communicate any delays promptly.

Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email or text message. You can use this number to monitor your shipment directly on the carrier's website.

Risk of Loss

Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. However, because all shipments are insured, if a package is lost or damaged in transit, we will work with you and the carrier to file a claim and make you whole.

Insurance

Always insure the shipment for the full replacement value of the watch. Down South Timepieces is not responsible for loss or damage during transit to us. This is the single most important step you can take to protect yourself.

Recommended Carriers

We recommend shipping via FedEx or UPS with declared value coverage. USPS Priority Mail Express with insurance is also acceptable. Avoid using standard uninsured shipping options for any watch of meaningful value.

Packaging Guidelines

• Wrap the watch securely in bubble wrap or foam padding
• Place it inside a sturdy box with additional cushioning on all sides
• Do not use envelopes or padded mailers for watches
• Include any paperwork, box, or accessories inside the package
• Do not write "watch" or "jewelry" on the outside of the package

Signature on Delivery

Please require a signature on delivery when shipping to us. This ensures your package is not left unattended.

Notify Us Before You Ship

Please contact us before shipping any watch to us so we can confirm we are expecting your package and provide our current shipping address. We want to ensure your shipment is received and accounted for immediately upon arrival.
